Hi. I'm Sondra. I'm new here. I'm not good at computers but I speak English, Italian, french, spanish and a little bit of russian and I believe that information should be free. I think I Can work as a translator. Do you have something for me?
Nice to meet you! Thanks for being here!
We don't allow job listings on the GitHub Community Forum at this time, so you won't find paid job listings here, but translation is a service that is definitely needed on many projects for localization. If you're looking for volunteer opportunities on Open Source Projects, you've come to the right place. :)
One good way to find projects looking for help is to use the GitHub search feature to find issues in which people are asking for translation support.
Hope this helps!
I hold the type of people who come here and do what they do in the highest regard. I have always had the upmost respect for those who are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to computers. I consider myself mediocre at best. Over the past year, maybe longer..I have had trouble with my laptops and phones. I know that someone has been hacking my things, gathering information about me, and who knows what else.
I'm sorry to hear that you're having these kinds of problems. Not being able to trust the computers, systems, and devices that we've come to depend upon to do our day-to-day work and other activities can be very frustrating.
Unfortunately, this isn't the kind of thing that we're going to be able to help with. For what you're describing, I typically recommend contacting the Crash Override Network. They specifically help with hacking and security, impersonation, doxing, stalking, and more. If you're looking for more of a do-it-yourself kind of thing, the Smart Girl's Guide to Privacy comes highly recommended.
I hope that helps and that things get better soon!
