Hello.  I'm excited and looking forward to this new journey.  I programmed a little in basic when I was a kid and a little in Visual Basic in Excel, but that is about it.

Re: Weekly Welcome 19 January, 2018

Hello
I´m  from argentina and a "newbie"  I joined to this community because I choose open source tools when I can. As  math teacher I would like to develop educational and community projects  with GitHub tools.  But I don´t know where or how start. I was looking for a kind of "hello world" proyect ; )
Well I´m here and  I hope that I can become a useful member of this community
Sincerely yours

Hi @MGL22,

We are happy to have you. Here's a great resource you may want ot check out, How to choose (and contribute to) your first open source project

It has some great suggestions of how to get started.
Hope this helps and welcome to the Community Forum!
