Finding a post

Solved! Go to Solution.

Hello

Can someone direct me on how to search posts?  I posted a question, someone replied then my browser crashed.

I see no search anything.  How do I find my post?

Thanks

Re: Finding a post

Nevermind.  I found when I post a question there is a link at the top to bring up my questions.  I can also get there from the tiny icon over on the right.  I would be helpful to others if it was indicated in some way that this image is clickable.

Hi @Marvelous-Software,

Thanks for this feedback! We're always working to improve GitHub and the GitHub Community Forum, and we consider every suggestion we receive. I've logged your feature request in our internal feature request list. Though I can't guarantee anything or share a timeline for this, I can tell you that it's been shared with the appropriate teams for consideration.

Cheers!

Re: Finding a post

Thank you @SpasNH for being here and making our community awesome!

If you haven't already, you will see some great information here on the help page about how to search the community and how to adjust your notification settings; please take a look:  Community Forum Resources.

Also in the upper right hand corner, beside the "Search the Community" input box, you will see a notification bell such as this one:

That bell will show a red icon for new notifications based on your notification settings.  You should also see a list of posts that you've created or replied to, by navigating to "My Profile."

Thank you for your perspective and your contribution!
All the Best
