In order to participate, make a good faith contribution to at least one of the projects highlighted in the Social Impact Collection between October 1 and 31. Then, come back to the challenge homepage and follow the Challenge Guidelines to complete your submission.
Those who complete the challenge by 11:59pm PT on October 31 will receive a limited edition badge on their Community Forum profile in recognition of their achievement and dedication to helping make the world a better place through open source. This badge is only available one time through this challenge.
Once you've made your contribution, save the URL of your PR and navigate to the challenge entry page.
Select "Enter the contest".
Fill in an Entry Title
In the Body of your entry:
Name the project(s) you contributed to.
Link to your PR/contribution.
A brief description of why you chose that project to contribute to.
Once you submit an entry, you cannot edit it.
One entry allowed per person.
All submissions will be verified against our records. Don't submit an entry if you have not contributed to one of the listed projects; you will be disqualified.
Only submissions completed in full will qualify. Be sure to include the name of the project, the link to your contribution, and a description of why you chose that project/why the project is important to you. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.
All those who complete the challenge by 11:59PM PT on October 31, 2018 will receive a challenge badge on their Community Forum profile.
Badges will be rewarded within two weeks after the challenge end date.
