How can i push a docker image to a specific branch and version on github package registry

I tried GitHub Package Registry for docker, it's very good, but i found that everytime i make a docker image push, a repo release will be generated on the latest master branch, so as the subject describes, is there any way to push a docker image to a specific branch and version? thank you.

Hi @lukywong,

Thanks for reaching out and apologies for the delay, have you seen one of last improvement to GPR? I think that might help https://github.blog/changelog/2019-09-06-publishing-a-package-no-longer-creates-a-release-and-other-...

Hi @AndreaGriffiths11 ,

Thanks for so much for replying, I tried it and it works as it says, so the behaviors of package registry will be more likely to a regular docker registry ?  thank you
