One of my larger java/maven projects has a parent pom with several sub-projects. For any common dependency, the version number is specified in a property of the parent pom. It seems the GitHub dependency parser does not support this, since most of the dependencies listed have no version number.
Are there plans to improve the dependency parser so it can resolve versions specified in this way?
I'm also curious as to why it's not using the maven api to get the dependency list?
