Host and update a third party live website onto Github Pages

Hello there, I hope this find you well. I'm asking if you can help me about an issue.

I'm a little bit newbie, so any help will be appreciated. I've created a brand new repository that will be host my portfolio, created with a third part content creator. I copied and paste the html code onto my repository so I'd like to know how do I do to update the github pages when I made any change onto the live website.

Glad to hear from you.

Re: Host and update a third party live website onto Github Pages

Hi @alessandromarani !

Welcome!  You will want to be sure that the Publishing Source for your GitHub Page is updated with those new changes.  One way to do this is by committing the new changes from the command line on your local machine if you have a copy of the changes there.

Thank you for your perspective and your contribution!

Re: Host and update a third party live website onto Github Pages

Hi @nyahbhinghiPrincess !

Sorry I'm a newbie and I'll try to improve step by step.

So let me explain...

I've a third party live website and the copy host onto github pages.

The only index.html file contains css and js link via https so I presume that every change I've made onto third party live website, will be available also onto github pages repository. But seems doesn't work at all.

Which is the right command?

Whats wrong?

How do I do to update the repository?

I hope anyone can help me.

I appreciated it a lot.
