I've made some edits to my page and I saw online that they should've been applied after 10 minutes. However, that was two days ago and the edits still haven't been applied. They show up in preview mode, but not on the webpage itself.
@connorveenstra good question! I had the same problem before, and what I had to do is this:
Step 1. Go to Settings, scroll down to GitHub Pages.
Step 2. Click on the gh-pages button. (Image of what I mean below)
Step 3. Now change it from the gh-pages branch to the master branch.
Step 4. Commit your new changes and see the results! (Estimated Time: 5-10 mins.)

@connorveenstra go back to your repo's homepage:
As you can see that the branch is set to master. Set it to 'gh-pages' and then go to settings, and click on the link it gives you to view your website. The reason you're not seeing the branch might be because you have set no branch to gh-pages. Next, do the steps I told you, and try it out!
