Solved! Go to Solution.

Hello Guys,

I need some assistance.

In point 5: I am to push my branch to Github using the below command in my git-bash but I kept getting the syntax error below:

$ git push --set-upstream origin <myownsideofslide>
bash: syntax error near unexpected token `newline'

what am I missing here?

@Princenuel are you including the < and > symbols? If the branch is called myownsideofslide, try:

git push --set-upstream origin myownsideofslide
