Problem with the course "Moving Your Project To GitHub"

Hi,

I have joined and left the course "Moving Your Project To GitHub" many time, but I always have the same problem. So that is the list of what happened those times:

-  Even if I fill the repository my way, nothing happens... No issue, no pull request, simply Nothing.

- The progress page related to the course shows a message about the repository being built.

- The progress page related to the course reloads every 5-7 seconds.

!!! PLEASE HELP !!!

Re: Problem with the course "Moving Your Project To GitHub"

Hi @HeavenMercy!

I'm sorry about the trouble! It looks like you've chosen to install the GitHub Learning Lab app on selected repositories, so when you register for a new course you have to install the app on that new repository.

After you click "Join Course" and choose to make a private or public repo, you should see a page like this:

42382973-e3738a78-8103-11e8-92ad-f944a2270d61

Hit that big green button "Install GitHub Learning Lab on github-move" and you'll be asked to confirm the changes to your installation of the app over on GitHub.com.

Once you've done those steps, your repository should be all set up and ready to go! Let me know if this works out for you.

Re: Problem with the course "Moving Your Project To GitHub"

Hi, I'm having the same issue, I have given the permissions to the app and it still doesn't work, the repository is empty and on the lab app i see the message:

Your repository is being setup...

It's been like that for hours, I've also tried to exit the course and delete the repo and try again but it still the same problem.

Hi folks!

Thank you all for letting us know about this bug. We've deployed a fix and you should be able to take the course now. You will need to leave the course and re-join it.

Thanks again for bringing this to our attention! Do reach out if you encounter any more issues ❤️
