Gemfile.lock warning

Solved! Go to Solution.

I just begin the Introduction to GitHub course, however when the repository with the slideshows was created I received the message in the picture bellow. How can I update the Gemfile.lock or how I have to proceed?

Re: Gemfile.lock warning

@gabriel19913 great question! What you are seeing is a vulnerability alert for a dependency in the github-slideshow repository. To learn more about security alerts, check out this blog post: https://blog.github.com/2017-11-16-introducing-security-alerts-on-github/

In the meantime, you can fix this by updating the Gemfile.lock file. Simply replace "ffi (1.9.18)" with "ffi (1.9.24)".
