triggering a workflow in base repository for pull request from forked Repository

Hello,

I want to trigger a workflow in the base repository when there is a pull request coming from the forked repository.

I am using a code coverage action and the action will comment on the Pull Request about the code coverage something like this.

however, since there is only read access for the GitHub action Installation token for forked repo, The action is not commenting on the forked PullRequest. Most of our contributions comes from the PR from forked repository.  I would like to see the code coverage analysis, linter, test report in the PR Comment before merging the forked pull request to the base repository.

Hence, it will be great if anyone can guide me on how to trigger  the workflow on the base repository when there is a pull request from the forked repository so that there will be read/write access for the pull request comment.

Re: triggering a workflow in base repository for pull request from forked Repository

Even I need to trigger a workflow in the base repo when there is a PR from the forked repo.

Can we get a clarification from the GitHub Team on how to trigger  this workflow ?.

Thank you.
