Unable to commit & push code: Maximum number of login attempts exceeded. Please try again later.

HI,

I have created an OAuth app for login authorization and it's working perfectly. I've tested several times the API execution and not it's throwing an error:

{
"message": "Maximum number of login attempts exceeded. Please try again later.",
"documentation_url": "https://developer.github.com/v3"
}

And I think because of this occurrence, I'm not able to commit the code. Could you guys help me to overcome this issue?

Thanks in advance

Hii @vishwanathpal,

Thanks for being here! Not taking a look at your logs it sounds like you've might be running into some rate limiting factors. If you haven't already, please contact us at https://github.com/contact with your info, so we can look into that further.

Best,
AndreaG

Hello @AndreaGriffiths11

Thanks for the reply. I figured out. As soon as I disabled the 2FA, it's allowed me to call API again and able to push the code also.

Thanks

Vishwanath
