GitHub's SSH host fingerprints available officially via API or other machine-parseable endpoint?

Is the fingerprint/hash data currently at https://help.github.com/en/articles/githubs-ssh-key-fingerprints also (officially) published anywhere in a machine-parseable format?

For automated purposes, this would avoid having to either hard-code the current fingerprints, which could change, or resorting to trust-on-first-use.

Hi @stephen-dexda,

Not at this time, and we thank you for this feedback! We're always working to improve GitHub and the GitHub Community Forum, and we consider every suggestion we receive. I've logged your feature request in our internal feature request list. Though I can't guarantee anything or share a timeline for this, I can tell you that it's been shared with the appropriate teams for consideration.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Cheers!

Best,

For anyone else reading this, this has now been implemented by GitHub at https://api.github.com/meta.
