Creating a github release using Github API v4

Hi,

I am not able to find the query/mutations to perform CRUD operations on Github repo releases. Is it possible to create, delete, edit a github releasing using the v4 API ? If possible can you point me to the docs ?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Creating a github release using Github API v4

Hi @darxtrix,

Thank you for being here! There isn’t currently a mutation for Releases, so it isn’t possible to create a new Release through the GraphQL API. I’m tagging this topic with a schema-request so the team can consider adding this to our GraphQL API v4 in the future, though I can’t make any promises of any changes. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Cheers!

I hope this helps,
Andrea

Any movement on this? Seems like an important update to the schema.

Is v4 planned to only be a partial implementation of the API???
