WSL2 | Verifying GitHub and local machine can communicate | SSH key is still Never used — Read/write

Hi, I’m trying to use my Windows 10 machine with WSL2 for starting to contribute to an Open Source Project on GitHub.
I’m following this tutorial: How to authenticate with GitHub using SSH |
I’m currently in video #5, I entered the command: ssh -T and I get the connection.
“Hi AsafYus! You’ve successfully authenticated, but GitHub does not provide shell access.”
But still on the site, under settings/keys, the key is
“Added on Apr 26, 2021
Never used — Read/write”
Why is that?

The only thing I can think of is that just doing the authentication like that doesn’t trigger whatever is necessary to update that message. Maybe it only updates that message when you do a read or a commit to a repo? That’s just a guess though.

Thanks for the reply.
Do you suggest simply continuing with the tutorial??

I say push forward and see what happens
