For years, I have commited stuff with the wrong email (email@example.com) because I had started with bitbucket and later changed to github but never changed the email, always used user and pass for authentication on commit. So they don´t show up as my commits, and if I try to add it as an alias, it requires verification email and that doesn´t reach anywhere, it´s not a valid email.
Is there any way I can fix this? I know about https://help.github.com/en/articles/changing-author-info but there are a lot of repositories (which are also hard to find) where I contributed (mostly uni stuff), so was wondering if there was an easier solution. Would asking support to recognize that email as an alias be an option?
