Workflow stuck in queue for 5 hours

Hi, not sure if this is the right place but i’m a bit lost trying to understand the below behaviour as it seems like one of my workflows is stuck in Queued position for the last 5 hours:

I didn’t see any global issue with GH Actions so i’m not sure what is going on…

My builds were working fine this morning and now I’m seeing things stuck in the queue as well.

What’s really weird is that I have a build that’s running, but it looks like it just stopped progressing. Even the timeouts I’ve set aren’t being triggered.

I didn’t see any global issue with GH Actions so i’m not sure what is going on…

I’ve learned recently from a conversation with someone at GitHub support that said they don’t update https://www.githubstatus.com unless a problem crosses a certain threshold. They didn’t mention what the threshold was.

We are also experience that, and to be honest, the GHA availability in the last week is a disgrace. Can the GitHub team shed some light on what is going on and what we should expect?

For the third time this week, we are also experiencing the same issue. This is ridiculous.

Seeing the same issue here. Last successful run was 17h ago, first fail was 5h ago.

Same here, we have multiple actions waiting in a queue. Actions availability has been shocking for the past week.

Running into the same thing, all actions started this morning (last hour) are stuck in queued.

Same thing happening to our team all week. Extremely frustrating.

It’s now on the status page: GitHub Status - Incident with GitHub Actions

Update - Less than 6% of users continue to see delays in jobs starting. Jobs that haven’t started for over 45 minutes will fail. Engineers are continuing to work on mitigation.

Anyone else skeptical about that “less than 6%” number?

For me the best part was the bit about 45+ minutes queued jobs will fail… less queued jobs = less delayed jobs, right?

GitHub Status page says the problem is fixed. As usual, no details, no explanation, no post-mortem. :frowning:
