Wiki workflow feature request

Hello

An open source project I work on uses the wiki to instruct the users on how to use specific features. Currently, if a pull request is merged that changes the functionality of that feature, we will have to manually change wiki either before or after the changes have been merged. This isn’t ideal and could cause confusion or be easily overlooked in the process.
The feature I am requesting is to allow for wiki changes to be linked to pull requests in a way that when the pull request is merged, the wiki will be updated accordingly. Also, this allows for the wiki changes to be finalized before the merge takes place, fixing any mistakes or formatting errors.

If someone has a good solution to this already feel free to enlighten me. Thanks

Hi @digbigpig,

Thanks for this feedback! We’re always working to improve GitHub and the GitHub Community Forum, and we consider every suggestion we receive. I’ve logged your feature request in our internal feature request list.

Though I can’t guarantee anything or share a timeline for this, I can tell you that it’s been shared with the appropriate teams for consideration.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Cheers!
