Why was the eeeeee repo removed?

Since this afternoon, I have noticed that all my activity on the repo eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee/eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (That’s the actual name) is gone. After clicking a link to it, I see an error message that says:

This repository has been disabled.

Access to this repository has been disabled by GitHub staff.

Contact support to restore access to this repository.

Why was this repository removed? It was clearly intended to be a joke by whoever made it, but it was popular enough to end up on the trending repositories list, and had at least 100 pull requests. I don’t see why it needed to be removed, since it didn’t seem to be violating community standards.

Hi @j0hnl0cke,

Thanks for being here. This question is already answered in another thread here. I’d recommend checking there for your answer. In an effort to keep the Community Forum organized and make it easier for other users to find information, we ask that users continue the conversation in existing threads, instead of opening new ones about the same topic. For this reason, I’ll be closing this topic, and you can continue the conversation in the original thread, if you’d like.

As mentioned in that other post, you’ll need to reach out to private support for help with this. We can’t discuss specific account details in the public forum.

Cheers!
