why my account has been flagged

Hello, Mr. or Ms.

I don’t understand what happened to my account.

Would you tell me what to do now?

Thank you very much for your support.

I don’t know why my account has been flagged.

What happened

I’m just create 7 gist today.

I got a mail from  support@github.com :

Hi there,

Sorry about that. Sometimes our spam-detecting systems miss the mark and you were accidentally flagged in the process. I've gone ahead and removed the flag and you shouldn't see that message again.

now it’s ok

Hi @301 I’m glad this was resolved! In the future, if you have questions about your specific GitHub account information, it’s much better to reach out to GitHub private support, as we won’t be able to help you in this public forum. It sounds you did eventually reach out to private support and they were able to help you. So glad to hear it!

So you flag my account what does that mean for me what should I do am I able to go on to your website do I have

@bloodlisa260815 As mentioned earlier in this thread, you should reach out to private support at https://github.com/contact if you have questions about your personal account status. Thanks!

I have the same problem. can anyone please help?

@asad-noor As mentioned in my comment right above yours, you should reach out to private support at https://github.com/contact if you have questions about your personal account status. Thanks!

They takes too much time to reply!

Today I logged into my Github account and noticed a message reading:

"Your account has been flagged.

Because of that, your profile is hidden from the public. If you believe this is a mistake, contact support to have your account status reviewed."

I haven’t violated any conduct restrictions and the only projects I post on my account are for CS50.

Because of the ban, I haven’t been able to submit my CS50 projects.

Can someone in Support remove the ban?

Hello everyone,

Thanks for being here. This question is already answered in another thread here. I’d recommend checking there for your answer. In an effort to keep the Community Forum organized and make it easier for other users to find information, we ask that users continue the conversation in existing threads, instead of opening new ones about the same topic. For this reason, I’ll be closing this Topic, and you can continue the conversation in the original thread, if you’d like.

As mentioned in that other post, you’ll need to reach out to private support for help with this. We can’t discuss specific account details in the public forum.
