When will GitHub starts supporting translations?

It is way too weird that GitHub website and service itself is not available in languages other than English when a lot of other websites do include translation support backed up by the community and many projects on GitHub are adding translation support over time.

Hi @muhdnurhidayat,

Thank you for your question! Localization is something we’re working on and it is definitely a priority for us. Unfortunately, I don’t have an ETA for when we’ll be rolling anything out.

Out of curiosity, what language or locale are you most excited to see GitHub support?

The friend who published this post never answered your question, but I do want to answer:

Like @muhdnurhidayat, it was very strange to understand that they don’t have the web, the desktop software and the android app, translated at least in the most requested languages.

I think they should start by the scale of the most talked about in the world.

0.- English.
1.- Spanish.
2.- Portuguese.
3.- Italian.
4.- German.
5.- Russian.
6.- Chinese.

I would love to participate in the help of translating at least in my case for Spanish, I live in Santiago of Chile and Spanish is my forte, this POST I translated it with Google Translate, hahaha, and all your help I have been translating gradually , to be able to learn more about GitHub, which has been an arduous task but nothing to do. Hands to Work Friends.

Coridal Greetings, and Thanks for Everything.
