Weekly Welcome 8 December, 2017

Hello GitHub Community Forum :smileyvery-happy:

This is our Weekly Welcome post, where we like to welcome new members to the GitHub Community Forum and make it easy to find out about some of the week’s hottest topics and important events.

Please make yourself at home and start exploring all the different areas of the Community Forum. We have some great resources to help you get started; you can find those listed in our Community Forum Resources. You can also find out about current and future events by checking out the information below.

And if you’re so inclined, don’t forget to say hello!* If you’re new here, reply to this topic and introduce yourself. You can share a little about who you are, what language you like to code in or learn more about, and what you hope to get out of the Community Forum. We look forward to hearing from you!

*Note: If you want to say “hi” to your fellow Community members, we encourage you to do so! However, please say hello in a reply to this Topic, instead of opening a brand new Topic. We try to reserve Topics for specific questions, idea discussion, or information sharing. Moving forward, any “Hello”-type Topics will be locked, and the author will be redirected to the most recent Weekly Welcome to introduce themselves to the Community.

Hello ,Здравствуйте

Thanks for joining us.

We take our Code of Conduct very seriously and want to help ensure that everyone has a good experience free of antagonism and harassment. Unfortunately, we don’t currently have moderators for languages other than English. What this means is that, until that changes, we need to ask that everyone use English here in the GitHub Community Forum when posting.

Thanks for meeting us halfway :grinning:

I am Hannes and I develop 3D configurators in Realtime on webgl-basis like on the following website.  At work I have sometimes problems with the system or other aspects. Therefore I decided me to sign up in this community.

Hi @ozsoni

Welcome to the GitHub Community Forum! If you have a specifc question that the community might be able to help with about or related to GitHub or a project you have hosted on GitHub, I would recommend opening up a new Topic in the appropriate board here in the Forum to get help.

If you have a question about how to use Git or GitHub, you would post a new Topic to the How to use Git and GitHub board. If you have a question about a project you are trying to build and is hosted in a GitHub repo, you can open a new Topic in the Project Development Help and Advice board. If you have a question about GitHub Pages, you could open a new Topic in the Pages board.

If you have a question about your private GitHub account information you’ll need to reach out to us at support@github.com for help. If you have a question unrelated to GitHub, I would recommend seeking support directly from the product or service owner for whatever it is you are working on.

Thank you again for being here. Cheers!
