It appears that because webhooks are maintained in the “Settings” for a repository, which a collaborator doesn’t have access to, it is not possible for collaborators to add or modify web hooks. This is turning out to be a big problem for us. We are not using Teams because we have a large number of contributors. So the only way we can find to let a collaborator modify the webhooks for a repo is to give them the credentials for the primary account of the repo.
Have we missed something? Is there some way to allow a collaborator on a repo in an individual account to add and modify webhooks? I mostly ask because modifying webhooks seems to me to be a development related activity rather than a repo maintenance activity, and so I’m surprised that developers can’t do this.
