We are developing an open-source statistical software on GitHub called JASP, and we are using GitHub Issue to handle our user reported bugs. However, one issue that we have is that we often need to ask our users for their
.jasp files to be able to take a look at their problem and solve it. The problem we are facing is that GitHub Issue doesn’t accept our file, and our non-tech savvy users have to compress their file and then upload it, which they often fail in doing so.
We are thinking about a few solutions for this, but I thought let’s ask here maybe there is a way built-in feature to actually get around this and we are not aware of it. And, if that’s not case, I’m open to suggestions on what would be a way forward?
Thanks in advance,
