Is there a way to keep repositories updated from different users? For example, if I use git to get something like check root kit, how can I make sure it stays updated without having to go to each git resource I am using and reclining it to my computer? Another example, if I update something in my repo, is there a way to push that out as an optional update?

Hi @sudopanda7,

Thanks for being here! You can use the git remote add command to match a remote URL with a name. For example, you’d type the following in the command line:

git remote add origin <REMOTE_URL>

This associates the name origin with the REMOTE_URL.

You can use the command git remote set-url to change a remote’s URL.
