Up-to-date tute cloning from GitHub to desktop?

In need of up-to-date tutorial for:

  1. Cloning from GitHub server to my local, Win-10 desktop GitHub;
  2. Then import the new github repository into my eclipse IDE (any IDE would do)

My desktop github version 2.4.6
Current tutorial does not reflect new screen layouts and I can’t follow the instructions.

Right now, I can clone to desktop repository, but lost the track there b/c tute screen flows do not match my local installaion. I can’t see the cloned github project in my repository.

Thanks.

@achaninusa2808 Thanks for reaching out! The best place to share this request is in the form of an issue in the desktop/desktop repository per this guide:

https://github.com/desktop/desktop#i-have-a-problem-with-github-desktop

From there, someone from the core team or the community will be able to share more context around what to do next.

If you have any other new specific questions about Git or GitHub.com, we encourage you to open a new topic per question. I hope this helps!
