Unable to provide permission level (Admin/Read/Write) access to someone to my github repository

Hi All,

I have just started learning  github tool.

I have created a private github account and then created one public repository.

Now i have added collaborator to access my repository.

After that i was tring to provide the permission level (admin//read/write) to that collaborator, but unable to get this option.

Pl. let me know how can i get this permission level feature?

Thanks with Regards,

JD

Hi,

you can set it in the repo’s settings/collaborators:

See the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOciDss1EEY

just would like to share :

Collaborator got by default access  “Push access to the repository”

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, First of all not getting the screen like below, which i was also expecting,

Second, gone through the vedio, there i can find ‘collaborator & teams’ , but my case it is only ‘collaborator’

Note: my github account is ‘private’ not ‘organization’.

Thanks with Regards,

JD

They have only read access. They are not able to add/edit anything.
