Ubuntu, spyder won't boot (anaconda)

Hi, I am using the latest version of anaconda though I can’t boot spyder (nor from bash or navigator).

I get a simple short error :

Segmentation fault (core dumped)

BTW I am using a VM on virtual-box

As The troubleshooting guide suggest I tried to:

  • upgrade spyder

  • Update Spyder’s dependencies

  • Reboot my VM

  • run

    spyder --reset

  • install spyder in a new conda env

Though nothing worked.

I reinstalled anaconda and I got back the exact error.

So now I am wondering… Is it a spyder error? Is it a Ubuntu error (probably)? If so should I change my distribution?

Does someone know something? Please let me know.

Thanks in advance.
