"This check suite has disabled re-running individual check runs" -- can I enable it?

My full workflow takes about 15 minutes to run. Many stages run in parallel, and one of them failed due to an intermittent network error on an external service.

There is a little info circle logo on the failed step, with tooltip text “This check suite has disabled re-running individual check runs”. I haven’t been able to find any info in the docs about allowing or enabling re-running an individual check. Ideally I could re-run that short stage instead of re-running the entire 15 minute workflow.

Is it possible to enable re-running individual checks today?

I agree, this would be very helpful!

From what I can tell, perhaps this has to do with how GitHub has implemented GitHub Actions on top of their check suites API? https://developer.github.com/v3/checks/suites/

We’re working on this! We need to make a few changes before we’re able to do reruns. I don’t have an exact date, but it’s coming along.

It is annoying that when a workflow fail and the pass, it doesn’t show that the check suite passed…
