The GitHub Education Community Category has moved! 🥳

As of April 4, the GitHub Education Community Category in the Community Forum will move to GitHub Discussions. All threads in the current category for github.community will become Read-Only and all posts will continue to exist on education.github.community but be transitioned to Read-Only.

Why Are We Doing This?

To bring the GitHub Education Community closer to the work you’re doing on GitHub. For some time now, the GitHub Education Community spanned multiple forums. With this change, you’ll have one place to go for conversations and questions about GitHub Education.

What does this mean for existing conversations and bookmarks?

Your posts in both the education forum and this one will continue to exist on but be transitioned to Read-Only. We ask you to join us on GitHub Discussions to post any new questions and conversations.

Looking for teacher conversations?

We’ve already moved! Apply for teacher benefits and then head on over to Global Campus Teacher Discussions for conversations on GitHub Classroom, auto-grading, and a chance to connect with other educators around the world.

 GitHub Education
