Sync Jupyter Notebook with GitHub

Hello,

I was told by my instructor (ive been doing a lot of data science bootcamps recently, that I needed to ‘sync up’ my jupyter notebook with the github account I created, but I dont know how. I’m trying to display some of my work (primarily application of machine learning algorithms) as soon as possible to move into the field of analytics (data science after my masters ideally). Any advice or know how to do it? Thanks!

Go to github.com and create an account if you haven’t already. Navigate your way to new repository, fill out the form, and follow the instructions displayed there. To do that, open a terminal through the new or launcher steps in Jupyter, if you have that already installed, and cd your way to the directory containing your project. Make sure you have no personal information like passwords in that directory, then follow the instructions from the github page. I hope that helps. When you’re done, you should see your files under https://github.com/your-username/your-repository
