I understand that most larger-scale projects will have a “docs” directory that mostly explains everything about the project, what it does, how it may work, what some of the files are for, etc. But I feel like a great addition to github could be right next to the short descriptions explaining the last changes made, such as “typo fixed” or “fixed bugs in funciton xyz”, so that when you’re navigating massive projects it’s easier to find where you might need to look.

Since sometimes you encounter fairly cryptic files names and you aren’t really sure what they mean, I believe a short little optional description towards the right of it would do wonders for people. Especially those of us who are forgetful
