I woke up this morning as usual, was going to commit and push a few lines of code I hadn’t last night.
All of of the sudden I get
$ git push ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host fatal: Could not read from remote repository. Please make sure you have the correct access rights and the repository exists.
When I run
ssh -vT firstname.lastname@example.org I get the following output
$ ssh -vT email@example.com OpenSSH_7.6p1 Ubuntu-4ubuntu0.3, OpenSSL 1.0.2n 7 Dec 2017 debug1: Reading configuration data /home/einar/.ssh/config debug1: /home/einar/.ssh/config line 1: Applying options for * debug1: /home/einar/.ssh/config line 10: Applying options for github.com debug1: Reading configuration data /etc/ssh/ssh_config debug1: /etc/ssh/ssh_config line 19: Applying options for * debug1: Connecting to ssh.github.com [188.8.131.52] port 443. debug1: Connection established. debug1: identity file /home/einar/.ssh/id_rsa type 0 debug1: key_load_public: No such file or directory debug1: identity file /home/einar/.ssh/id_rsa-cert type -1 debug1: Local version string SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_7.6p1 Ubuntu-4ubuntu0.3 ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host
I haven’t changed anything compared to last night when it was working
Tried so far:
- Reconnect wifi
- Reboot computer
- Looked for github status messages
