[SOLVED] Add a downloads section/folder to allow file downloads

I’ve a Jekyll blog hosted on GitHub pages with a custom domain that is working fine.

I wanted to add a “downloads” section/folder to the site where I wanted to make some (pdf) documents accessible. The folder should not be readable normally, but only allow documents download. For example [https://mydomain.com/downloads/document.pdf](https://mydomain.com/downloads/document.pdf)

I was wondering if and how this can be achieved.

EDIT: This is rather straightforward. Just needed to add a directory called downloads to the repository and pushed the pdf files to it. The documents are immediately available at the URL as above.
