Hi @mscoutermarsh, I’m still encountering this and it seems like there’s no way to purge/reclaim storage space. I don’t think this is a fully resolved issue yet because I’ve had to incur charges just so my pipelines will not break. Like, there’s no problem charging for storage, but if we can’t reclaim storage and have to inadvertently pay for storage or have our pipelines break, that’s pretty ridiculous to me.
We’re working on it. We’re adding a way for people to remove artifacts before they expire (after 90 days).
Uploading to releases solves this problem - https://github.com/marketplace/actions/upload-files-to-a-github-release
@mscoutermarsh so can we now? We’re in September and I just hit
Artifact storage quota has been hit. Unable to upload any new artifacts
Yes, Artifacts can be deleted in the UI (top right of logs page for your run). Or via the API.
thanks. Thank God there’s an action for it already
strange, it was working for a while but now I get a solid
Artifact storage quota has been hit. Unable to upload any new artifacts every time. Does this not cover uploaded and downloaded artifacts when I delete artifacts?
Hey, I too am running into this issue. i’ve just nuked a whole bunch of artifacts and I’m still receiving this error for all builds. Is there any documentation about the quota? I can’t seem to find anything beyond a few posts mentioning cleaning it up like this.
Is it still happening? When you delete artifacts it can take ~30 mins for the quota to be synced.
Ah yeah, after the delay it did start work again. Thanks for following up.
I am seeing this issue as well. I deleted artifacts. It’s more than 2 hours now, and I am still getting this error
I’ve use this…
Still it says
Error: Artifact storage quota has been hit. Unable to upload any new artifacts
