Python, Jupyter notebook and Wiki web-pages? How to begin?

Hello, developers

I am taking a class on Geospatial Analysis with Python. We are using Python 3.7 and Jupyter notebook and it is my first time with both. On our second class we are assigned to copy a Wikipedia webpage. It is not a large webpage and one student said it is only about 6 entries of code, but does not share how to go about it.  Many others (small class with many different majors) have never done this before either. I began with using markdowns, and headings, but it looks nothing like the webpage. Someone mentioned super script and I have no idea what that is or where to put it.  I have web searched for help, what I have found does not work. Maybe I am asking the questions wrong. Any help in steering me in the right direction, would be greatly appreciated. The webpage we are copying with Python is;   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chocolate_chip_cookie_dough_ice_cream

I know weird for Geospatial Analysis right?

The assignment is due this Monday, September 17th at 8:00 am, so if anyone sees this after the date, it will not matter, so please save your energy for another question. Thank you so much in advance for your time and help.

What do you mean by “copy”? Just dump the raw HTML into a file? Scrape & parse the page to get the actual article? Something else?

Hi @tee32926,

This appears to be Python homework. We want to help you get the information you need, but we also are concerned that just giving you the answer will rob you of the necessary skills you’ll need to develop. If you can describe the things you’ve tried and how they haven’t worked for you, perhaps someone can give you a nudge in the right direction.

Cheers!
