Pull Request of a revert in a protected branch

Hi all,

I would like to know if there is a way (or is it planned on Github side) to allow merge a Pull Request of a revert of a protected branch on Github. 100% should be stable code so we would like to speed up our workflow of doing a revert.

Our team would like to:

* Be able to merge the PR of a revert with no approval

* Skip Jenkins checks (maybe this can be controlled touching our hooks but if we can skip Jenkin’s job would be awesome).

You should be able to use Probot to build something that would help with this. If you could detect when a PR consists only of a revert action, then the bot could be programmed to merge the PR and/or mark it approved. You may want to take a look at the implementation of some other Probot apps like Update Docs that examine the contents of PRs for guidance.

I’m not sure how the skipping Jenkins check part might be achieved, but it’s a start? :grinning:

I will take a look on the solution but looks promising! Thanks for your proposal solution!
