Private org wide issue templates

Hello,

I’m attempting to set up issue and pull request templates for my org, following instructions in this document: https://docs.github.com/en/github/building-a-strong-community/creating-a-default-community-health-file

I’ve got it working, but only if my .github repo is public. As all of the repos in my (corporate) org are private I would also like to keep our issue templates private as well so they can have more useful information attached.

Is it possible to have a private, centralized repository of community health files?

thank you.

Hi @tristansokol! Welcome to the Community!

The default community health files are very much geared towards open source projects, so they are currently only available in public repositories, yes.

We’re always working to improve GitHub and the GitHub Support Community, though, and we consider every suggestion we receive, so would you mind submitting a request through our official product feedback form so that our product team can see there’s an appetite to have a private repository version of this too?
