Privacy policy for GitHub Pages

While GitHub has a full privacy policy, which goes into detail about user accounts and repositories, there doesn’t appear to be a simple privacy policy for visitors to GitHub Pages.

It looks like GitHub doesn’t drop any cookies on my behalf, injects no scripts, and clearly doesn’t ask for any user information.

Is there an official privacy policy for visitors to GitHub Pages somewhere?

It strikes me that this is a siginificant benefit to a GitHub Page - I have no access to site logs, and as long as I don’t use any external resources, there’s absolutely no detail about my website visitors. A GitHub Page’s privacy policy, from GitHub’s point of view, is presumably that they retain server logs for a short period and that’s it - but it would be nice to see that written down somewhere, so that site owners can link to it.
