Per second billing?

I have just setup a nice GitHub Action for our team. Under the GitHub Team plan we get 3000 minutes of GitHub Actions included, great!

Each time the action is invoked, it takes about 4 billable seconds. But it seems that you are charging by the minute? Is that right? In my view, per-minute charging for jobs that take 4 seconds is a rip-off. It will mean $100s of usage fees each month, making GitHub Actions completely uneconomic as a tool.

Am I misunderstanding something?

Hi @jodastephen,

Glad to see you in Github Community Forum!

Yes, it’s charged per minute. And it says in the docs: GitHub rounds the minutes each job uses up to the nearest minute.

Thanks
