Need an open source Project Administrator?

I am a Philosopher/Political Scientist passionate about how software can help us organize ourselves much better for the future than with current political and economic 19th century styled institutions. I believe a change is urgent giving the challenges humanity will face in the coming years.

In the last 4 years I have worked on formulating and designing a dynamic and continuous direct democracy, in synergy with a creative economy with basic income and virtual currency system, that I believe should be at least a good starting point to develop the Political-Economic OS for the future.

I have the Interface design ready, a white paper explaining the philosophy behind it, and even a selection of Wordpress plugins with which a fast prototype of it could be built (though Wordpress is not a requirement).

The whole project is not for profit, I just want to see it used. Therefore rather than use my limited budget to hire a development agency, I thought the best thing would be to do it in Github, and let it grow and fork beyond myself.

However, not being a programmer myself, nor a good team manager, I need someone to be the head of the project in Github, to whom if necessary I am happily willing to pay.

Is someone reading this perfect for that task?

Or could you give me advice on where or how to find him/her?

(if based in Barcelona where I am, would be ideal, but is not a requirement)

Thanks very much,

Zury Asse

We don’t want to have job listings on the Community Forum right now. It is something that we’ve added to the list to investigate if we can do so without overwhelming other conversations.

However, since your request was a non-standard one and not specifically a jobs posting, I edited the title to, I feel, more accurately describe what you’re looking for. I hope that helps and good luck in your search!

Thanks lee-dohm,

I wonder if my request is unusual or wrong for some reason.

I am surpriced I haven’t been able to google my way to any “Github Project Manager” listings or resources.

Thanks for any oriantation on this.
