I know we are able to make drafts for pull requests, but I am suprised that there is not the option to make draft issues, discussions, and even commits! With it, we would save repositories (and even gists) from recieving a lot of “filler contributions”.
The thing is that only PRs have a review process and it allows you working with CI/CD/Apps. For others I don’t see ans reasonable advantages
I would appreciate draft GitHub issues, absolutely. Sometimes we use them for quite complicated descriptions of future work, and it would be nice if we could put them through multiple revisions before making them official.
You can use discussions now and then create an issue at the end.
