MKS Integrity to GitHub migration

Hello,

We have a use case for migration of code bases with all versions and branches from MKS to GitHub. I have searched lot of forums and GitHub code bases, could not find anything working. If anyone of you come across this and developed utilities for this purpose, please share

Thanks in advance,

Hi @prajusibbal! Welcome to the Community!

I’m afraid MKS is not one of GitHub’s default supported sources of importing code, sorry!

I think your best bet would be to convert the MKS repositories into one of those formats. I did a little research and couldn’t find any readymade tools to convert straight to Git, unfortunately, so you might need to perform an intermediate conversion to one of the other formats, and then to Git.

I’d love to know if any other members of the community have had to make this kind of conversion!

Thank you! for your response

I am following below approach to bring the source code to Git compatible format

MKS to SVN (using the Polarion SVN importer Tool). I am able to create a dmp file for one of the project successfully, but unable to view the same in SVN. Do you have any suggestions how to make the import into SVN from the dmp output file ?
