This extension is missing on ubuntu-latest. It was always present ( last time used two weeks ago). I had to install manually via apt. Is it a bug or i’m missing sth?
A new version of ubuntu runner is in preview: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.
In this new version , php 7.4 is not installed.
Now the ubuntu-latest tag still uses the Ubuntu 18.04 virtual environment. PHP7.4 is already installed in ubuntu 18.04 server.
When I tried to install php7.4-curl, logs shows that

This is the problem: before it, you didn’t need to do
sudo apt-get install php-curl as first task, now yes…
I want to extend my sincerest apologies for the negative experience that you had with GitHub Actions . There was a regression with PHP installation in Ubuntu runner. The virtual environment engineering team has fixed this issue: https://github.com/actions/virtual-environments/pull/983
Could you please confirm if the issue is fixed in your side ?
