Linking SSH Key

I am a newbie and need help linking my git to github via SSH key. I have followed all the commands however when I try to git clone in the terminal this is the message I keep getting. What am I doing wrong?

Users/robert/.ssh/config: line 2: Bad configuration option: addkeystoagent

/Users/robert/.ssh/config: line 3: Bad configuration option: usekeychain

/Users/robert/.ssh/config: terminating, 2 bad configuration options

fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights

and the repository exists.

Which OS are you using?

You can always use Git over HTTP, which doesn’t require any settings.

Mac OS 10.11.16 is what I currently have

I’m afraid I don’t use Mac, so all I can come up with is a tutorial:

I use HTTP for Git and it works fine, so unless you have a special for SSH, you can always use HTTP.

Really looks like an erroneous SSH config file.

Not entirely sure what it can be without knowing what you did, but should look something like:

Host *github.com
        IdentityFile ~/locationTo/mySSHKey

Don’t really need anything else really. SSH key will usually be at ~/.ssh/mySSHKey, but depends on what you did with ssh-keygen.

Did you include something else?
