Keep getting 404 error on GitHub Pages

I have made a repository containing some index.html files

(link: https://github.com/deethreee/FullStackWebDevelopment) and had selected the source as ‘master branch’ under GitHub Pages in the Settings tab. It says my site is ready to be published, yet when I click on the link(https://deethreee.github.io/FullStackWebDevelopment/)  it gives me an error:

                                                         404

There isn’t a GitHub Pages site here.

Its been like this for an hour now and I had tried clearing browser cache but it still persists.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @deethreee ,

Why not put an _index.html _file in the root directory of the repository?

Unfortunately, we don’t have access to your private account details, so we can’t see if something is misconfigured on your repository. It does appear that it isn’t being published. You may want to add an index.html to the root directory and thenuse the .nojekyll option to see if that will get things to publish the way you want.

If you still run into problems, you may want to contact private support at https://github.com/contact or by email at support@github.com.

I hope that helps!
