Is there anything I need to do to enable Reusable Workflows Beta?

Hi, I watched the Github Universe session that mentioned that Reusable Workflows was in public beta. But when I view settings -> actions either from my Organization’s profile, or from any of the private repos within it, I do not see the screen that is shown on how to control these permissions.

Am I missing some link that I need to sign up for the beta?

Thank you

@jenschelkopf We do not have this setting you showed on your video: Screen Shot 2021-11-04 at 10.10.44 AM

Is there anything we are missing to get this set up?

Hi @iautom8things. You don’t need to do anything to get access to the reusable workflows beta.

The setting in the demo is only needed if you want a reusable workflow that has been checked into an internal repo to be accessible to other repos. Here’s more information about that setting: Reusing workflows - GitHub Docs

But that’s what I want, and I don’t have that setting.

Forgive me, @jenschelkopf … It appears that I was confusing internal with private repositories. Will this limitation be lifted when Reusable Workflows comes out of beta?

This was a great tease. I was excited for this feature but if you can’t reuse private workflows within an org then that’s really disappointing.

I’ve got the same question @jenschelkopf, is this functionality limited to internal repositories? We don’t allow those in our organization, I cannot see the Access section either in my repositories, enabling this would be a giant win for our org since most of our IaC repositories share 100% of the content.
