Is there a right way to delete local files in a dormant project?

I’ve got 2 user accounts on my mac and I’m running out of diskspace. On one of my user accounts I have some github projects that are safely uploaded. I’d like to delete them until I need to work on them again.

Is there a “right way” to do this?

Deleting your local copy of a Git repository won’t affect any remote one at all, you can just delete the directory. If you have the repository registered in an IDE you might want to clean up the settings there, too. :slightly_smiling_face:

Probably obvious warning: Make sure there really isn’t anything in the local copies that you want to keep but isn’t pushed before you delete. :warning:
