Icon in workflow-templates is not shown #25626

I’m following documentation
https://help.github.com/en/actions/configuring-and-managing-workflows/sharing-workflow-templates-within-your-organization

But can’t make the icon part to work

iconName - Required. Defines an icon for the workflow’s entry in the template list. The iconName must be an SVG icon of the same name, and must be stored in .github . For example, a SVG file named example-icon.svg is referenced as example-icon .

I put the example-icon.svg into root of .github repository, in .github folder of.github repository in icons folder of .github repository. Result is the same - the icon is not shown.

I’m having the exactly same issue and my repo its’s configured as @weide-zhou indicates
